Welcome to The Flower Chef

From a young age, I knew I wanted to be a floral designer.  As a young kid I use to watch my mom and dad go outside to the fields, and the side of the road and even in the woods picking wild flowers and bring them home and getting a vase filled with water and begin putting the flowers in the vase and placing the vases throughout  the house. One of the things that caught my attention was the various colors of flowers that was placed in the vases. As I watched my parents consistently and with joy putting flowers in the those vases I found myself starting to do the same thing, especially when my parents were not around. At the age of 10 without thinking I said to my parents one day I want to create beautiful floral arrangements, 40 years later I am a professional and license floral designer.

Creativity has always been a core part of who I am. I’ve enjoyed floral designs, video editing, martial art, creating videos for social media small and large companies, especially for the Kingdom of God. 

My 35 years of designing I have encounter various people and projects with the floral industry. I was trained as floral designer by Bussey's Florist in Atlanta, Ga with 3 location, which has open up many doors for me such as: designing the wreath for the Martin Luther King tomb at the Martin Luther King Center in Atlanta. I was part of the Super Tuesday Luncheon, which I help design over 300 centerpiece for, and designed floral designs for various musical artist such as: Luther Vandross, Mary, Mary, Whitney Houston, Shirley Caesar and many more. My experience is extensive and rich. I was also trained by Gresham Park Florist of Atlanta (Cathy Barbra)

There are so many beautiful varieties, and each one inspires endless possibilities. This is what I love most about my work—every design is an opportunity to create something unique. The ever-changing trends in floral design keep me inspired and excited for what’s next.
